Progress continues on the boat launch construction. I have received requests to purchase the new annual launch decal. I will start selling them in the office on April 12. Annual launches purchased in April and May, 2021 will expire at the end of May, 2022. After that they will expire a year after they are purchased. The new annual launch fee is $60 for Port District residents and those who own property in the District. That fee is lower than for nonresidents because local residents and those who own property in the district are paying on the bond measure that made the new launch and marina possible. Those who live outside the District will pay $75. We still anticipate that the new facilities will open between mid-April and the end of April.
