The Port of Alsea boat launch closure in Waldport has received another extension. It will now close on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 5:00. The contractor will begin the staging of materials and equipment in the east parking lot behind Dock of the Bay next week instead. I have been hearing from everyone about how good the crabbing is and this will allow everyone another three weeks of crabbing before we close (and, frankly, more revenues for the Port). A win-win for everyone.
